Kuta is where Bali tourism begins and ends – the growth of the tourism industry has transformed this once-sleepy village into a congested hive of restaurants, resorts, and nightclubs. The formerly pristine surfing beach is now lined with tourist establishments, and the urban sprawl now spans the villages of Tuban, Legian, Seminyak, Basangkasa, and Petitenget.
Kuta, for all its flaws, is still a wonderful place for the tourist who knows where to look. The place is home to Bali’s best beach (though its glory days are arguably long over), and its position gazing west over the Straits of Bali offers visitors the best sunset on the island.
Our place is only 5 mins walking to Legian street (home for hip nightclubs and bars), 15 mins to Kuta beach, and 2 mins from the bus stop for Nusa Dua and Batubulan (near Ubud).
By car : from Ngurah Rai airport, turn left to Raya Tuban street (landmark is the white statue of horses with two characters from Mahabrata), go straight and you will reach Raya Kuta street. Find the sign for Sentral Parkir Kuta, enter the location and follow the sign of Kuta Central Park Hotel. Our place is right in front of that hotel.
By taxi : From Ngurah Rai airport, you can take pre-paid taxi for IDR 65,000 ( 7 USD), the counter is on the right side of international arrival gate.
* We can arrange airport pick up for you, please let us know at least 2 days before your arrival.
